Harlem Oval Rules

The Harlem Oval is open for public use when there are no scheduled programs or organized activities happening onsite.
RULES PROHIBIT:
- Pets on the lawn or inside the facility
- Littering
- Smoking
- Glass containers
- Barbecuing
- Open flame
- Consumption of alcohol
- Amplified sound, except by permit
- Vending, except as allowed by law
- Pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, signage unless authorized
- Demonstrations or events over 20 people, unless authorized
- Motor vehicles without specific authorization
GUIDELINES:
- This space is for passive recreation only
- No organized sports
- No balloons
- No aerosol cans
- No bicycles, scooters, or other recreational wheeled devices
- No sharp objects or use of objects that can puncture and damage the turf. These include glass containers, umbrellas with stakes, corner flags with pointed ends, canopies, tents or goals with spikes, or related items.
- Children must always be supervised by an adult.
- Please carry your trash and recycling to the nearest waste receptacles.
