Harlem Oval Rules

The Harlem Oval is open for public use when there are no scheduled programs or organized activities happening onsite.
RULES PROHIBIT:
- Pets, with the exception of service animals
- Cleats
- Littering
- Smoking
- Glass containers
- Barbecuing
- Open flame
- Consumption of alcohol
- Amplified sound, unless authorized
- Vending, except as allowed by law
- Pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, and signs, unless authorized
- Demonstrations or events over 20 people, unless authorized
- Motor vehicles without specific authorization
- Bicycles, scooters, or other recreational wheeled devices
GUIDELINES:
- This space is for passive recreation only.
- No organized sports
- No balloons
- No aerosol cans
- No sharp objects or use of objects that can puncture and damage the turf (for example, glass containers, umbrellas with stakes, corner flags with pointed ends, canopies, tents or goals with spikes, or related items)
- Children must always be supervised by an adult.
- Please carry your trash and recycling to the nearest waste receptacles.
