Gathering Space Rules

The Davis Center at the Harlem Meer has a shared, informal gathering space for public use. To ensure access for all guests, organized celebrations, including parties, are only permitted during the winter skate season, unless otherwise authorized.

RULES PROHIBIT:

• Pets inside the facility
• Open flames, including birthday candles
• Consumption of alcohol
• Amplified sound, unless authorized
• Vending, except as allowed by law
• Pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, and signs, unless authorized
• Demonstrations or events with more than 20 people, unless authorized
• Bicycles, scooters, or other recreational wheeled devices

GUIDELINES:

• No balloons or decorations of any kind
• No outside food for groups of more than 20 people
• No aerosol cans
• No sharp objects or use of objects that can puncture and damage surfaces
• Children must always be supervised by an adult.
• Please place trash and recycling in the nearest waste receptacles.
